Unique wooden objects from miniatures to art totems frequently present difficult maintenance requirements. Furniture, such as chests, boxes, and tables of portable size, are historically cases of neglectful treatment.

As trained, experienced and diligent caretakers, when we examine your special tool we explore a variety of actions:

Conservation:	We will choose scientific approach for the restoration because we believe the object most requires preservation. This is frequently the case with museum quality heirlooms.
Restoration:	As the object and owners suggest, there are times and items that will result in a less scientific approach. Usually, this will be a skilled technique that we choose to simulate a part or finish to please the eye and balance.
Replacement:	We either recreate a part or locate a duplicate of a damaged portion. In many cases, function can continue.
